My art work.

I have learnt to paint gentally and carefully. The hardest part of my painting was drawing so big and I have to do little detail. My favourite part of my painting was my chair I think it is interesting. I can improve by getting those big bits right and practise drawing the big bits.

Cross country Paikea

Girls ran across undulating fields of green grass and up towering, rocky mountains. The ultimate champion of all is at the back having already done one lap, she is winning. They are exhausted runners completing their challenge with only two more laps left.

A topic sentence is the first sentence in a paragraph . It tells your audience what the paragraph is all about. In this activity I have found the topic sentences and then put the rest of the sentences in order to complete the paragraph.

At the KIT Day Paikea.

Last Tuesday I went to the KIT Day. I made snow flakes. I made it by folding a pice of paper, i drew on it then cut out the sides I opened it up now it looks like a snow flake then I put glue on my snow flake I put grey glitter on it and thats my snow flake then I put a black string around it and it is a necklace now I made a cool sparkly snow flake necklace.

Eating healthy food Paikea.

What is an explanation?

An explanation tells the reader why or how something occurs. 

We are going to write about why it is important to eat healthy food. You will explain how the food we eat moves through the different parts of our digestive system and feeds every part of oury.*

You have to eat healthy food.  So your brain works properly and so you get clever. If you eat unhealthy food  your brain can't learn not much energy and feel tired unhappy you might die. If you eat healthy food and and two cups of water a day you will be strong and healthy.

Flying between the rocks will be scary  for me but I will just do it and.

Fiafia day

Watching the fiafia groups it was exciting because it was nearly our turn.  When it was the Niueans  turn my heart was beeping very fast. When my group first took a step, I felt nervous. When the Niueans were finished, my friend and I were proud of our selves.

Temperature Question

This morning the temperature was 12 degrees Celsius. By 12pm it had  increased by 7 degrees so it is now 19  degrees  Celsius.   By 6pm the temperature  then dropped by 5 degrees to be 14 degrees Celsius. Now at 8pm, it has dropped 3 more degrees, so  the  new temperature is 11 degrees  Celsius.                 The Equation (what are the numbers?)
