Image result for KimchiToday for Inquiry in Room 4 we got to Kimchi which is a pickled cabbage from Korea. The Kimchi was pretty much like cabbage sitting in a bunch of chili sauce the sauce was very spicy, salty, flavory and garlicky. We also got a chance to try Pad Thai which is a dish obviously from Thai. In Thai they like to have their flavors balanced out equally their 3 main flavors are Salty, Sweet and Spicy. The Pad Thai definitely was delicious I really loved it, it tasted like pasta and chicken with a various of flavors.

Trying Foods.

Today in Room 4 we tried a delicious Empanada which is a traditional dish in Argentina. It is a pastry pocket fulled of meat. It looks like a sausage roll with a golden crispy pastry color. But it is like a flat dumpling shape. The mince is a brownie, red color because of the spice. The Empanada had Capsicum, Mince, Onion, Sugar and Spice filled in it.

My first bite I called taste the golden pastry on the outside and the sweet mince on the inside. The edges were crunchy and the sweetness overpowered the spice. I personally don't agree with the raisins being in this dish because it makes the Empanada too sweet.

The Empanada is originally from Europe in Spain. The reason this dish ended up in Argentina because Spanish people colonized Argentina.

North America and Europe Venn Diagram

What are the differences between North America and Europe? It all started when the Europeans colonized North America and brought their languages and food over to North America. Europe and North America traded in things they owned. European traded in their food like pizza and their language like Spanish, French and English. So now both countries have these things.

Today in Room 4 we got the chance to try Italian and French food. There was plates covering the table with Brochette Bread and with olive oil on top. There was also a piece of Feta cheese next to it with 2 dry black olives. In my opinion it was different and weird. I didn't get the chance to try the dry olives because the smell was too strong for me to try. So I gave it away to someone who likes olives. The Brochette was different as well and the oil had a strong taste. After trying that we had Pain Au Chocolat which literally means Bread with Chocolate this comes from France. In my opinion it was delicious.
